CO Crews Find Body During Brush Fire

Nov. 6 -- Firefighters responding to a small brush fire in Golden found the body of a woman who had been shot.
Members of the Pleasant View Fire Department found the body about 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Nile Street, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
The case is being investigated as a homicide. Authorities believe the fire is connected to the homicide.
The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Cymone Duran. No arrest has been made in the case.
