A North Carolina firefighter was injured during a house blaze early Thursday.
Nearly 30 Charlotte firefighters responded to the call at a home at the west end of the city, WBTV-TV reports. No one was inside the house when the fire started in the rear bedroom.
A firefighter was taken to the hospital after suffering undisclosed injuries battling the blaze. Officials told Spectrum News that the firefighter's injuries weren't life-threatening.
Crews were able to get the fire under control in about 10 minutes. The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
