Crews from around a dozen departments battled a massive fire that erupted at an Ohio factory Tuesday.
The blaze broke out at about 5 a.m.at the Colfor Manufacturing plant in Malvern, which builds transmission shafts, gears and other equipment for the auto industry, WTOV-TV reports. A press inside the facility blew, igniting high-pressure hydraulic oil.
Flames moved quickly through the plant, and around 300 employees were forced to evacuate the building. Fire officials told WTOV that the facility's east and west areas were left relatively undamaged.
Thick clouds of smoke shut down nearby roads, and a lack of water pressure forced Brown Local Schools canceled classes, according to WOIO-TV.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
