More than 50 NY Firefighters Battle Two-Story Residential Blaze

Volunteer crews from Moyers Corners, Cicero, South Bay, Phoenix and Lakeside fire departments responded to a blaze that broke out on the deck of a Colonial home in Clay.

CLAY, NY—Firefighters from multiple departments are on the scene of a house fire in the town of Clay this afternoon.

Crews were called to 8252 Dampier Circle around 2:33 p.m.

Smoke could still be seen coming from the two-story Colonial home more than an hour after the fire was first reported.

According to scanner reports, the fire started on a deck that spread to the house.

More than 50 volunteer firefighters from Moyers Corners, Cicero, South Bay, Phoenix and Lakeside fire departments were at the scene. The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office and Northern Onondaga Volunteer Ambulance (NOVA) also responded.
