Philadelphia firefighters had a busy 12-hour period, battling four major fires that injured two firefighters and four civilians, according to the department.

The fires broke out between 8 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday, the fire department said in a social media update. During one of the calls, firefighters performed a rescue.

A firefighter and a civilian were injured in a two-alarm warehouse fire in the city's Tioga area early Friday, KYW-TV reports. Crews responded to the fire at Treco Fibermatics shortly before 6:30 a.m.

No details were given about the extent of the injuries or how they occurred.

The department also did not provide details about the three other incidents.
