MO Firefighters Battle Blaze at Lakefront Mansion

Nov. 5, 2021
Osage Beach firefighters along with mutual aid companies used a fire boat to help control a fire at a Lake Of the Ozarks mansion.

Firefighters from Osage Beach Fire Protection District and Lake Ozark Fire Protection District worked to control a massive blaze on the waterfront of Lake of the Ozarks.

The fire was reported Wednesday afternoon and quickly spread throughout the million-dollar structure that threatened nearby exposures. Firefighters used handlines to start an interior attack before conditions changed, requiring a defensive strategy.

Lake Ozark Fire Protection District’s fire boat was used to provide master streams from the water to assist in controlling the fire. Fire crews remained on scene overnight to watch for flare-ups and returned on Thursday to control hot spots.
