A firefighter was injured battling a house fire in New Fairfield Sunday night that required resources from multiple departments from two states.
Firefighters responded to a reported dwelling fire on Jeremy Drive arrived to find flames showing from the second floor and attic of the structure, according to a report by WTNH 8 News.
Crews from multiple stations battled the flames as they tore through the roof consuming the home.
Tanker operations were needed to supply multiple handlines and an aerial device to control the fire.
Two residents were taken to the hospital for evaluation and one firefighter received minor injuries.
