Early Morning IN Fire Claims Two

A house fire early Tuesday morning in Fort Wayne has left two people dead.

The fire started around 5:30 a.m. on the 7000 block of Strawberry Drive, and in video from WANE 15, heavy fire conditions were visible from the back of the home as crews arrived.

Fort Waynes NBC reported that two people died. One victim was located early on, crews continued searching for the second victim but had difficulty getting into the home safely.

They later located the second victim and pronounced them dead at the scene.
