Multiple people were rescued by firefighters after being attacked by a swarm of bees in northwest Tucson.
The Northwest Fire District along with the Tucson Fire Department and Golder Ranch Fire District were dispatched to the area of La Cañada Drive and River Road to a reported "bee incident."
A neighbor at the scene identified a toddler as one of the victims of the bee attack, according to a report by News 4 Tucson.
According to fire officials, eight patients were evaluated, two patients were transported with life-threatening injuries. Fire crews used hoselines to suppress the swarm.
