Philadelphia House Fire Leaves Two Dead; Probe Underway

A 71-year-old woman and her boyfriend were pronounced dead at hospitals.

A fast-moving house fire in a Philadelphia neighborhood has left two people dead.

Firefighters reported a 71-year-old woman and her boyfriend were transported to area hospitals where they were pronounced dead, MSN reported.

Fire crews responded to the house fire in the Mount Airy neighborhood about 11:30 p.m., and reported it under control about an hour later.

The fire remains under investigation.
