MN Firefighters Rescue Residents from Apartment Fire

Minneapolis firefighters said three people were treated, but none transported.

Minneapolis firefighters rescued two people from a three-story apartment building overnight.

Firefighters found an adult and child in a top floor unit in a building on Penn Avenue North, the department reported

Those two and a resident with a heart-related issue received treatment at the scene and were not transported to the hospital. 

Firefighters found fire in the laundry room on the first floor of the apartment building, department officials Tweeted. 

Crews remained on the scene for more than an hour to hit hotspots and conduct overhaul.
