Five firefighters were injured Wednesday during a massive blaze that destroyed Seaford warehouses.
All were released after treatment, officials reported.
About an hour and a half before the warehouse fire, Seaford Volunteer Fire Chief Jack Wilson told reporters they responded to the scene for downed electrical wires, but he did not know if it was at all related.
The Seaford ladder truck was damaged when the flames intensified. Windows reportedly popped.
There were water issues at the scene as some hydrants didn't work or were too far from the incident. They shuttled water from the Nanticoke River.
The blaze caused more than $1M damage.
