Boston Firefighters Use Laser to Look for Movement in Damaged Building

A car slammed into a brick building block in Roslindale, crashing through the side and putting city officials on watch for a potential collapse.

The driver of the car that crashed into the Corinth Street  building was pulled from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital, according to the Boston Fire Department. The crash occurred at approximately 8:47 a.m..

City officials are monitoring the building with lasers to watch for movement and potential collapse.

Fire officials say a structural engineer is on the way to assess the building’s stability.

The fire department is advising people to stay clear of the area of Belgrade, Birch and Corinth Streets.
