TN Firefighter Seriously Hurt in Fall from Ladder During Training

The Franklin firefighter fell while transitioning from the ladder to the second-floor roof.

A Franklin firefighter was seriously injured in a fall during a training exercise.

He fell while transitioning from the ladder to the second-story roof of the building at the training center, according to a statement from Franklin Fire Chief Glenn Johnson.

The firefighter was transported by Williamson Health EMS to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment.  He was reported to be stable.

The incident is under investigation by the City of Franklin and the Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration (TOSHA).
