Nominations Sought for Firehouse Innovation Awards
While firefighters respond to the unknown each time the station alerting system or pager comes to life, they want to trust that their tools, equipment and vehicles meet their needs under fire.
The equipment and emergency vehicle manufacturers are rolling out more innovations for the fire service than ever before, and now it's your turn to spotlight your favorite service products.
The 2025 Firehouse Innovation Awards aims to recognize all products and services that help provide fire service agencies provide critical services to their community.
The program is open to any organization who manufactures, designs and engineers fire/rescue products or services. Products must be available in the market as of March 1, 2025.
Manufacturers can submit new products for the Firehouse Innovations Award program to highlight their product or innovation by clicking on the Firehouse Innovations Awards page for more information, or to start an entry now. The early bird deadline is April 30, 2025 and the final nomination deadline is May 24.
The winners will be announced in the October issue of Firehouse Magazine and will be awarded at FireFusion, in Charleston, SC.

Peter Matthews | Editor-in-Chief/Conference Director
Peter Matthews is the conference director and editor-in-chief of Firehouse. He has worked at Firehouse since 1999, serving in various roles on both Firehouse Magazine and Firehouse.com staffs. He completed an internship with the Rochester, NY, Fire Department and served with fire departments in Rush, NY, and Laurel, MD, and was a lieutenant with the Glenwood Fire Company in Glenwood, NY. Matthews served as photographer for the St. Paul, MN, Fire Department.
