The San Bernardino County Fire Department recently released this helmet cam video showing operations during a residential structure fire from June 16.

The department described the incident in San Bernardino as follows:

"On June 16, 2020 at 11:49 A.M. units were dispatched to reports of a residential structure fire on the 24000 block of Monterey Ave in the City of San Bernardino. The first arriving unit reported a well involved RV with an immediate exposure to the adjacent home. The fire quickly spread into a back bedroom and a small portion of the attic. Crews preformed an aggressive interior fire attack with support from truck crews on the roof providing vertical ventilation. The fire was extinguished in 45 minutes with 1 Battalion Chief, 1 Medic Truck, 4 Medic Engines, 1 Fire Investigator, and 1 Hand crew to aid in overhaul operations for a total of 27 personnel. There were no injuries reported to suppression staff or civilians. The cause of the fire is under investigation."
