    Thousands of Pounds of Onions Burn Along FL Highway

    Ocala firefighters had their eyes and hands full with the 6,000 pounds of onions burning.

    A pick-up truck hauling several thousand pounds of onions caught fire on a Florida interstate in Ocala Saturday night.

    The trailer contained six cargo bins each filled with 1,000 pounds of onions, FOX 35 reported.

    Ocala firefighters found the truck engulfed in flames.
