Philadelphia firefighters battled a two-alarm fire Monday for more than an hour before bringing it under control.
The fire destroyed a furniture store and an auto repair shop next door, 6abc reported.
"They encountered high heat and zero visibility. Conditions continued to worsen. The fire began to spread throughout the property," said Philadelphia Assistant Chief Harry Bannan.
