A report from the state police station in Lancaster said that a 5-year-old boy “sustained serious injury in a farm accident” at 10:20 a.m. Monday in Little Britain Township. The coroner’s office said the farming accident involved a mule-drawn wagon in the 100 block of Fulton Britain Road.
First responders arrived on the scene and attempted to save the boy, but he died at the scene. The coroner’s office was called just before 11 a.m. The preliminary investigation has determined the death was accidental, but further investigations are ongoing.
