An 80-year-old woman died in a house fire in Santee.
On Sunday afternoon, Santee firefighters found an elderly man standing outside a fully involved house, KSWB reported.
When he advised his wife was still inside, crews rushed in to find her. They administered CPR and rushed her to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
A firefighter was 'moderately' injured, fire officials told reporters.
