VA FFs Tackle Massive Building Blaze at Recovery Facility

Oct. 19, 2023
Roanoke County firefighters said the cause of the early Thursday blaze remains under investigation.

Roanoke County firefighters battled a massive blaze that destroyed a building at the Rebos Club of Roanoke.

Firefighters found a structure with heavy fire showing after getting the call about 3 a.m. Thursday.

While the house on the property is salvageable, a building where meetings are held was destroyed, according to WSLS.

Rebos is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe and pleasant environment for 12-step recovery groups to hold meetings.

The fire remains under investigation by local fire marshals.
