A small plane made an emergency landing on a Virginia highway after taking off from Dulles International Airport Friday afternoon.
There were no injuries to anyone aboard the single-engine Cessna 208 Caravan or anyone on the ground, according to WTTG.
Loudoun County fire and rescue personnel responded to the incident.
The plane, Southern Airways Express flight 246, made the emergency landing about 30 minutes after it left the Virginia airport.
The NTSB is handling the investigation while Virginia State Police closed a section of the Loudoun County Parkway.
Dulles Airport remained open for takeoffs and landings.
There was snow in the area at the time.
