Businesses Destroyed in Clinton, NJ, Blaze

Clinton, High Point and other fire departments established a ladder pipe operation as the fire burned out of control.

Several businesses were destroyed in a Clinton complex Sunday night.

Heavy smoke and fire were showing when Clinton firefighters responded to the incident.

In addition to the Walgreens pharmacy, a sub shop, liquor store and a thrift store were located in the structure, according to WGOLV. 

The incident went to two alarms with a tender task force also requested.

Several ladder pipes were in operation during the incident. 

Firefighters fron several counties were on the scene for several hours.
