Seattle firefighters have been battling a blaze in a commercial building for several hours.
They found heavy smoke and flames coming from the two-story vacant building just after midnight.
After assessing the scene, incident command quickly upgraded the response to a two-alarm fire, bringing in more resources to help fight the fire, according to a department release.
Crews took a defensive attack, pouring water on the fire from the exterior of the building. Several ladder trucks were deployed as well.
No injuries were reported. The cause remains under investigation.
