Man, Woman Dead, Child Critical in Largo, MD, Fire

The child was rescued from the apartment fire by Prince George's County firefighters,

An apartment fire in Largo early Tuesday left a man and woman dead while a child was critically injured.

There was heavy fire showing from the roof of the three-story building.

Prince George's County firefighters went into the structure and brought the child and a man out early in the operation, WTTG reported.

Crews were evacuated due to conditions and a imminent collapse.

After dawn, firefigthters said a woman's body also was discovered.

The cause of the two-alarm fire is under investigation.
