Fire Strikes Raleigh, NC, Buildings Twice in 12 Hours

July 17, 2024
Firefighters say a rekindle of an earlier fire in the apartment complex is possible.

Raleigh firefighters were familiar with the address they were dispatched to on Tuesday -- the same they responded to 12 hours earlier.

Tuesday’s fire damaged the attic and exterior of the storage and clubhouse building, and several apartments also suffered heavy damage.

It could have been a rekindle of the fire Monday night which remains under control, according to WNCN.

There were no injuries, but 25 residents have been forced out of their apartments.
