Fire Rips Through Rosemead, CA, Pallet Yard

A hazmat team also responded to the Los Angeles County blaze after 55-gallon drums were found burning.

A hazmat team responded to a pallet yard fire Wednesday after drums of unknown contents were found burning as well.

The thick plumes of black smoke were visible from throughout the San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles, KABC reported.

Additional alarms were requested as firefighters reported low water pressure.

The cause is under investigation.
