Six firefighters and three citizens were injured in a four-alarm fire late Monday night.
The roof of the building of origin collapsed into the top floor as firefighters battled to keep the flames from spreading. There is no word on the severity of the injuries.
The fire spread through the cocklofts to four other houses before firefighters, according to ABC7.
One neighbor says the fire was stubborn and up put up a fight.
Dozens of people were left homeless by the four-alarm fire.
