Train Hits Rig Hauling Military Vehicle in Goose Creek, SC

No one was injured in the collision that sent the self-propelled artillery vehicle spinning.

A train slammed into an 18-wheeler carrying a M109 Paladin howitzer in Goose Creek Thursday afternoon.

There were no injuries in the incident, The Post and Courier reported. 

The self-propelled artillery vehicle was headed to Joint Base Charleston when the incident occurred. 

The CSX train that did not derail managed to stop shortly after impact.
