A Northeast Portland warehouse caught fire Saturday morning, sending up heavy smoke but no injuries.

Firefighters called a third alarm after arriving about 9 a.m. at the 6100 block of Northeast Lombard Street, where the fire was burning in the center of the warehouse. The building was full of material and equipment, the bureau said.

Sirius Extracts was located in the warehouse, according to Lt. Damon Simmons, Portland Fire & Rescue. The company describes itself online as conducting botanical extraction, including “high-quality cannabis processing using advanced and innovative extraction techniques.”

Crews reported limited visibility inside the structure. Eventually, firefighters cut a hole in the roof of the warehouse to ventilate the heavy smoke, while others opened doors and windows to clear visibility.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of this fire, which did not cause any injuries. No damage estimate was provided.
