One Dead in Boat Explosion in Texas City, TX

    A person also was injured in the incident at Dickinson Bayou Bridge, Texas City firefighters reported.

    A boat explosion and fire in Texas City left one person dead and another injured Tuesday.

    Firefighters were advised that the boat on fire had living quarters and there was a possibility someone may be aboard.

    One person died and another was taken to a hospital for treatment, KHOU reported.

    An investigation is underway to determine the cause.
