Photo Story: Train Lifted off Man in Portland

Portland firefighters used tools to lift a rail car off a man.

Portland firefighters rescued a man who was trapped under a Max Train on Dec. 22.

At 4:05 p.m. units were called to the SE Division Street Station. Crews encountered a male trapped under the Green Line.

Crews used various tools, including air jacks and cribbing, to slowly raise the rail car and pull the man to safety.

He was transported to the hospital and his condition is unknown at this time.
