Members of the volunteer fire brigade of Alkoven, located in Upper Austria, rescued a two-year-old whose head was stuck in a fence.
The girl had been playing and put her head between the metal pickets. The girl and her mother tried, but were unable to free the head.
With the help of a small battery-operated spreader, the girl was rescued. She was uninjured.
The firefighters fixed the fence and returned to service 20 minutes later.
