Firefighters with the Nevada County Consolidated Fire District rescued a woman and her two dogs Thursday after a tree crushed an RV.
Firefighters went to the county fairgrounds at 11228 McCourtney Road in Grass Valley for the rescue. An uprooted tree amid precipitation fell onto a RV in its center, splitting it nearly in two, the fire district said in a social media post.
Responding crews spent about 20 minutes extricating the woman and her dogs. There were no injuries, firefighters said in the social media post.
