Video: Nine People Injured in CA Balcony Collapse

A backyard camera from adjacent property captured the frightening moment when a balcony collapsed onto a rocky beach during a house party in Malibu, CA.
Nine people were injured in the Saturday afternoon incident and four were hospitalized.
“It’s a freak accident. Like, I don’t know, I don’t know how that happens. I don’t know how that happens. So, it is pretty cut and dry. The deck literally just gave out,” one witness at the birthday party told KABC.
The owner of the property told CBS Los Angeles there were about five times as many people in the house than were expected.
The local fire department declared the house uninhabitable as the investigation into whether any structural damage unfolds.
