Crews Free Woman Trapped after Tornado Hits Brownsburg, IN, Warehouse

Brownsburg, Indianapolis and Washington Township worked for three hours to free the woman trapped in debris.

The Sur La Table warehouse in Brownsburg partially collapsed after being hit by a tornado Wednesday night.

Firefighters from Brownsburg, Indianapolis and Washington Township worked together to extricate a worker trapped in the debris.

As crews monitored the stablity of the remaining structure while others operated, a doctor spoke with the woman pinned, WTHR reported. 

After spending three hours trapped, the victim was freed and transported to a hospital for undisclosed injuries.

The tornado and storms caused widespread power outages and damage.
