COSTA MESA, Calif., Nov. 30, 2023 -- 5.11 Tactical, the global innovator of Purpose-Built Gear™, announced today a planned transition in the senior leadership of the company, effective January 1, 2024. Co-founder and former CEO, Francisco J. Morales, will be promoted to the position of Executive Chair of the Board of Directors, while current 5.11 Board Member, Troy R. Brown, will become Chief Executive Officer. In these new roles, Mr. Brown will assume day-to-day leadership of the company while Mr. Morales will continue to work with the leadership team on corporate and product strategy. Mr. Morales will remain a significant shareholder in 5.11 Tactical.
