A Kenner firefighter suffered burns to his leg while battling a blaze that caused an estimated $1 million in damage to a warehouse Thursday afternoon, according to The Times-Picayune.
Firefighter Patrick Moskau was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and later returned to the scene.
Crews responded to the fire on 450 31st Street shortly before 2 p.m.
Officials say roof repairs were under way on the building and the two-story, 6,100-square-foot building was being enlarged, according to the report.
"They were in the process of expanding the building, so there was a lot of activity," State Fire Marshal Butch Browning told the newspaper. "We won't know what caused the fire until the work on scene is finished."
The two-alarm blaze drew dozens of firefighters from at least five departments in the area.
