A Montana fire chief was seriously injured Tuesday when his water tender collided with a brush truck while responding to a grass fire.
Fort Shaw Chief Dave Anderson was driving the tender which flipped onto its side, pinning him, KRTV reported.
Anderson, who suffered chest injuries, was listed in critical condition in Benefis hospital.
The firefighter driving the brush truck was not hurt.

Mutual aid companies will provide tender service until further notice.
