A Pennsylvania firefighter has a long road to recovery after falling out a second-story window at a house fire last week.
Lt. Alex Scripp, a Munhall firefighter, slipped on ice and fell out of the window, WPXI reported.
He shattered his left knee, suffered a fractured femur and right kneecap. Yet, he was reported in good spirits, the station reported.
"He’s improving every day, considering the fall that he took,” his father, Jeff said.
The injured firefighter has received many messages wishing him a speedy recovery.
