Several people escaped serious injury Sunday when a Harford County ambulance and a car collided.
The ambulance --with its lights and siren activated -- entered the intersection and was hit by a Hyundai, explained Robert Royster, Harford County Sheriff's Office PIO.
Upon impact, the ambulance struck a Volvo before ending up in a ditch.
The driver of the ambulance didn't clear the intersection on 24 at Ring Factory Road before entering it, Royster said.
"There were no significant injuries," he said adding that the occupants of the ambulance and the car were transported for checkups.
It wasn't clear whether the ambulance was responding to an emergency when the wreck occurred.
The Bel Air crash remains under investigation.
