Officials Say FDNY Firefighter Seriously Injured at Staten Island House Fire
A Staten Island firefighter was taken to the hospital in serious condition after responding to a house fire Saturday morning.
FDNY crews responded just before 10 a.m. to a house fire on Lenzie Street where firefighters found fire in a 2 1/2-story home.
An FDNY spokesperson told the Staten Island Advance that the firefighter sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The fire was placed under control an hour after they arrived.
