Safety Components Adds New Fire Service Staff
Demonstrating an ongoing commitment to improving customer support, Safety Components is pleased to announce the addition of Jamie Martin to its fire service sales and marketing team.
Martin has been with the company since 2011, after graduating from Clemson University with a degree in business management.
A native of Beaufort, South Carolina, Martin brought his passion for boating to Safety Components' outdoor products division. As a market development specialist, he acted as liaison between the company and the distribution network, developed new business across North America, created marketing strategies, and assisted in product development.
He grew sales and increased the division's visibility, including its outdoor flame-resistant fabrics.
In his new position, Martin will help grow Safety Components' fire service business, with a focus on supporting garment, distributor, and end-use customers. He will also expand the Wildland and FR knit business, and increase overall brand awareness.
Safety Components engineers and manufactures a wide range of rugged, fire-resistant fabrics used for personal protective equipment.
