Veridian Fire Protective Gear Hires Regional Sales Manager
Veridian Fire Protective Gear is pleased to announce that Kirk H. Owen has joined the company in support of their growing regional and national account base. He brings over 30 years of Fire Service Industry experience to the organization.
Owen comes to Veridian after 8 years with TenCate Protective Fabrics where he worked in support of the fire service as End Use Marketing Manager for Emergency Response. Kirk's 30-year fire department career with the Plano, Texas, Fire Department culminated with his retirement as Assistant Chief. During that tenure, Kirk was very active in the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), serving on the Structural and Proximity Fire Fighting Protective Clothing and Equipment Technical Committee for 16 years, including 10 years as chairman.
Owen joins Veridian as the Greater Southwest Regional Sales Manager to continue Veridian's success of providing performance-based custom built fire protective apparel to first responders and firefighters worldwide. Kirk comments, “I am very excited to join the great group of people and represent the quality products at Veridian.
