Professional Cylinder Inspectors Offers Training in Indiana in April
Most firefighters know HAZMAT, but do not consider that the bottles they use every day are considered HAZMAT. They are required to check their packs at the start of a shift. But have they been trained what to look for on the bottles (Which can potentially be the most damaging, life threatening part of the pack)?
The Visual Cylinder Inspection training provided by Professional Cylinder Inspectors, Inc. (also known as Professional Scuba Inspectors and PSI-PCI) is the only training of its kind endorsed, referred to and used by the cylinder manufacturers and recognized by USDOT, NFPA, OSHA and Compressed Gas Association. In fact, many personnel of these groups have been trained using our visual cylinder inspection program.
Federal regulations also require formal, function specific training to level of exposure to the HAZMAT. Our VCI course meets these requirements. We also have Cylinder HAZMAT and Fill Station Operations training for non-inspection personnel.
Other PSI-PCI customers include NASA, NOAA, all branches of the military, fire personnel, police, hydro-requalifiers, scuba shops and many others where high pressure cylinders are utilized.
With PSI-PCI training you can save money by reducing unnecessary inspections/tests, time and reduce the risk of cylinder issues to your firefighters.
