With this latest approval, 3M Scott Fire & Safety is “more than ready” to begin shipping highly sought SCBA to fire departments across North America.
Built on a foundation of proven, trusted performance, the Air-Pak X3 Pro provides the same reliability and durability that 3M Scott Fire & Safety builds into all its NFPA Air-Pak SCBA products. Now with a new warranty, fire departments purchasing new Air-Pak X3 Pro SCBA, compliant to the NFPA 1981, 2018 Edition standard, will receive a lifetime warranty for as long as they own the product. This bumper-to-bumper warranty includes all standard components of the SCBA and is designed to help simplify budget planning for volunteer and municipal fire departments.
With an unrelenting commitment to firefighter safety and a focus on exposure reduction and fireground accountability, 3M Scott Fire & Safety designed the Air-Pak X3 Pro SCBA to enhance 3 key areas - cleanability, comfort and connectivity. The Air-Pak X3 Pro combines high-performance material selection with an easy-to-remove harness for cleaning, decontamination and serviceability. With minimal water absorption, the harness assembly can be machine laundered to help with exposure reduction. The ability to launder the equipment at the fire station promotes better adherence to standard operating procedures and provides quick and easy access to the equipment when firefighters need to respond to the next call.

Offering enhanced electronics with Bluetooth® technology, the Air-Pak X3 Pro supports wireless connectivity for improved firefighter safety and fireground accountability. An electronic PAR feature allows incident command to reliably communicate with firefighters using the Scott Connect Monitor Pro software interface without creating additional radio traffic. Data downloading and configuration changes are seamless using a wireless connection to smartphone devices.
