TheFireStore, the leading source for firefighting equipment and supplies, recently announced that it is now MSA’s sole distributor to the 750 fire departments in the state of New Jersey.
As part of this landmark move, TheFireStore will exclusively service all of MSA’s Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) accounts and gas meters as well as offer a full range of specialized, innovative equipment and supplies, including the most advanced and user-friendly SCBA available today: MSA’s G1 SCBA. Since the G1’s release on November 21, 2014, TheFireStore has delivered 350 units and currently has over 2,000 additional units on order.
In addition to MSA’s highly desirable SCBA line, TheFireStore will also exclusively distribute its thermal imaging cameras and gas detection meters. The territorial takeover only serves to strengthen the long-standing national allegiance between TheFireStore and MSA. TheFireStore became a distributor for MSA in 2004 and rose to be the number one distributor in 2008.
TheFireStore has been in the top five MSA Fire Service Channel Partners in each of the last five years. Those rankings don’t factor in TheFireStore’s success with Cairns helmets (in which TheFireStore ranks number one year after year).

TheFireStore’s acquisition of sole distributorship in New Jersey comes on the heels of TheFireStore having being awarded a highly coveted MSA SCBA award from Baltimore County, Md.
