American Airworks' Fast Series of HP breathing compressors provides firefighters CGA/NFPA Grade E breathing air for their SCBA at a reasonable cost. 5,000 and 6,000 PSI models are available in 3.5 to 18 CFM flow rates which can be powered by gasoline, diesel or electricity. Units are use in fire stations and mobile applications in fire trucks and trailers. Enclosed cabinet compressors are very quiet while open chassis models are quiet because they operate at lower RPM. The OSHA required AirCal 2000 CO and H2O electric monitor insures air produced meets CGA and NFPA standards and stops the system should air quality drop below set standards. ISO air storage cylinders have 10-year retest cycle with the certified two position fill station offering protection to the operator.
