The new self-contained Pelican 9455 remote area lighting system (RALS), is the industry’s first Class I, Division 1 / IECEx ia / Zone 0 safety certified area light. It shines up to 1,600 lumens of clean brilliant light with three lighting modes - high with up to 5 hours of run time, low with up to10 hours of run time and flashing. The 9455 RALS has a light array that produces a 125° beam which provides a significantly wider view for higher situational awareness in areas where safety is paramount. It’s powered by a rechargeable nickel metal-hydride battery that gives off no smoke or noise and eliminates the need for gas-powered generator area lights.
