Memphis Lt. Jeffrey Norman received a final salute Wednesday from firefighters across Tennessee and beyond.
Memphis Fire Chief Gina Sweat told those assembled: “The pain may seem insurmountable now. I want you to know that Jeff’s legacy will live in our hearts as an example of what it means to be a Memphis firefighter and a true hero.”
Fire officials are still looking for the person who set a dumpster fire that spread to the house. It would be Norman's last alarm, WREG reported.
Firefighters in Class A uniforms and residents braved the extreme temperatures to honor Norman, a 20-year veteran with the department.
